Who is this class for?
This class is for intermediate level students who would like to become a certified Range Safety Officer. The NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) program was developed in response to the demand for a nationally recognized range safety officer certification. To become an NRA Range Safety Officer, you must pass the RSO course and demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.
Topics include: Range inspections and rules, Range safety briefing, emergency procedures, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, and the standard operating procedure.
Basic Conceal Carry AND Handgun Fundamentals (Intermediate level) or equivalent experience.
Must demonstrate safe gun handling and live fire exercises.
