Class length: 8 hours (5 hours classroom / 3 hours range)
Who is this class for?
This class is for intermediate level students.
During this 8 hour class, students will spend 5 hours in the classroom learning about choosing a handgun for self-defense, building a defensive mindset, home safety strategies, responding to violent confrontations, and firearms laws.
Three hours of instruction are conducted on the range, where participants will practice shooting around barriers, point shooting, flash sight picture, and scenario-based defensive shooting.
Prerequisites: One of the following:
NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting
Pass a pre-class qualification

Equipment: Personal firearm and ammunition
