DESCRIPTION:Class length:  8 hours (5 hours classroom / 3 hours range) \nWho is this class for? \nThis class is for intermediate level students. \nDuring this 8 hour class\, students will spend 5 hours in the classroom learning about choosing a handgun for self-defense\, building a defensive mindset\, home safety strategies\, responding to violent confrontations\, and firearms laws. \nThree hours of instruction are conducted on the range\, where participants will practice shooting around barriers\, point shooting\, flash sight picture\, and scenario-based defensive shooting. \n  \nPrerequisites: One of the following: \nNRA Basics of Pistol Shooting \nIntermediate Handgun \nPass a pre-class qualification \nNumber of Participants:  Minimum: 2     Maximum: 6 \nCost:  $200 \nRounds: Approx. 100 \nEquipment:  Personal firearm and ammunition \n
