SUMMARY:NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting
DESCRIPTION:This course teaches the basic knowledge\, skills and attitude necessary for the safe use of a rifle in target shooting. This course is at least eight hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest\, prone\, sitting\, standing and kneeling positions; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook\, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure\, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet\, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination\, and receive a course completion certificate. \n$150 \n

SUMMARY:Breakfast & Bullets with the Wilkes-Barre A Girl & A Gun chapter
DESCRIPTION:Join us for Breakfast & Bullets hosted by the Wilkes-Barre A Girl & A Gun chapter and the Cabin Armory & Training Center. Both members & non-members of A Girl & A Gun are welcome to attend! We will hit the range for an hour\, wash up and enjoy a hot breakfast hosted by the Cabin’s cafe.  \nWith enough participants\, we will have our own 9 lane range! Shooters of all skill levels are welcome to attend.  \nCabin Range fees for non-members of the Cabin are $10 (normally $18 lane fee) and for Bullets and Breakfast\, the food buffet is also $10. Fee for Non-AG&AG members is $8 and for members it’s free.  For example:\nBullets & Breakfast:\n1. Non-Cabin\, Non- AG&AG members would be $10 range\, $10 breakfast\, $8 AG&AG = $28\n2. Non-Cabin Member & AG&AG member = $20 (food + range fee)\n3.
